Market Kitchen

Head to the buffet and indulge in unlimited all-you-can-eat breakfasts and three-course dinners, served fresh every day.

Begin your morning with continental favourites, including fresh pastries and cereals, plus a selection of juices and hot drinks, before you head to the hot counter for the porridge, omelettes, or the Full English. At dinner, different dishes are served daily, and chef’s specials add even more variety. Starters are freshly made to order, or you can head to the deli counter for an array of colourful salads, quiches, cold meats and more. Explore the hot buffet offering a wide selection of British classics and global favourites before completing your meal with a trip to the tempting desserts table.

The Riverside Lounge

Situated at the heart of the hotel with pitcturesque views over the Thames, The Riverside Lounge and Terrace is the ideal spot for daytime drinks and treats. From 10am, The Coffee Nest opens serving up pastries and cakes, light bites, and outstanding coffee too. If you’re in the mood for something stronger, the Lounge Bar serves all-day drinks to both the lounge and terrace. Afternoon tea can also be booked here - with a discreet DJ booth playing the latest tracks, it’s the perfect space for a much-needed catch-up.

Ready for a whole new world of flavour?

Discover a colourful new deli counter featuring beetroot hummus, smoked trout and marinated vegetables to name just a few. Starters and desserts have been upgraded too and fun is most definitely on the menu - from bloody mary crumpets to tea and biscuit pudding. And if you're looking for something extra special, every night you'll find something new on the chef's specials menu, giving you even more to choose from.

Named after the year Warner Hotels began its journey, Brasserie32 offers a contemporary take on British cuisine. Accessibility: How accessible are the facilities at The Runnymede on Thames?

We do absolutely everything we can to make life as easy as possible for all our guests – and if there’s anything else you need, feel free to ask for help from a member of our friendly team.

Parking and entering our hotel

We’ve positioned three accessible parking spaces very close to our main entrance. If they’re all in use, we can park your car for you. Wheelchair users can enter our disabled access hotel through our main entrance; our forecourt and all ground floor public areas are all on one easy level.

Checking in made easy

If you prefer, we’re just as happy to come around the other side of the Reception desk or register you inside your guest room. For guests using hearing aids we have induction loops at our main reception desk.

Bedrooms in our disabled access hotel

We have four very spacious accessible bedrooms for guests who might require this, two of which are riverside rooms offering uninterupted views of the river. We do not have any ground floor bedrooms but all guest rooms are accessible via the lift. These rooms offer you:

  • Wider doorways – easy access for wheelchairs
  • A large bathroom with suitable taps, sanitary ware and grab handles
  • Call assistance alarm system from your bathroom and bedroom
  • Wardrobes and drawer units with appropriate access for guests who are mobility impaired
  • Text displays and hotel information displayed on a television screen
  • Visual fire alarm warning for guests with a hearing impediment
  • Readers, guiders, and menus and other documents in large clear print, for guests with a visual impairment.
  • Fully controllable lighting and air conditioning

Easy access to everything

Our main reception, The Live Lounge entertainment venue, The Riverside Lounge, and both Market Kitchen and Brasserie32 restaurant are easily accessible to everyone and are all on one level. There’s ramped access to the terraces and riverside areas.

Accessible toilet facilities

You’ll find two unisex accessible toilets on the ground floor. One is just beside reception and The Riverside Lounge; the other is in The Live Lounge bar and entertainment area.

Easy access to the spa and fitness centre

Both the spa and fitness centre are spacious and all on one level with wide doorways. Please note that we currently don’t have any equipment or toilet or shower facilities specifically designed for wheelchair users. The nearest toilet with disabled access is near reception.

Can I hire a boat at The Runnymede on Thames?

Boat hire and skippered boat trips are available for hire on a seasonal basis, from early May to the end of August.

When is the outdoor pool open at The Runnymede on Thames?

The outdoor pool is in operation on a seasonal basis. All guests staying at The Runnymede on Thames can use the pool free of charge. Dependent on weather, the pool will operate from early May to the end of August. 

Can I visit the hotel for the day?

Yes - you can visit all our hotels as a non-resident.

We welcome walk-ins at our Riverside Lounge from 10am-5pm every day. The Riverside Lounge features our cosy coffee shop, The Coffee Nest, as well as a fully stocked bar with a range of soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits. Sit back in comfort and enjoy exceptional drinks and treats in a vibrant but relaxing atmostphere.

Sorry, we don’t allow children under 18 years old or dogs (except for service dogs).

Can I have visitors while I’m staying at the hotel?

Booked a break with us and want to meet with friends? Not a problem. Invite them along for daytime drinks, leisurely walks around the grounds or book onto an afternoon tea.

Please note: visitors are unable to take advantage of everything included in your break, e.g. free dining in our restaurants, evening entertainment, etc.
